Rocket Science and Financial Risk
The British University
in Dubai organise a public lecture on Rocket Science and Financial Risk at their
campus. This lecture looks at the dark side of rocket side rocket science, the
hidden risk that emerge when mathematical models are misapplied. Admission to
the lecture is free.

Batchelor, HSBC Professor of Banking and Finance - Cass Business School, City of
London.
Professor Batchelor
has been associate editor of the International Journal of Forecasting, and is on
the Editorial Board of the practitioner journal Foresight. He has conducted
seminars around the world and has served on the Bank of England's Panel of
Advisors
